Inspired by "My Body Is a Book of Rules" by Elissa Washuta and the stories of other survivors like Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, I shared my own sexual assault story. This work is also a discussion of the socialization of AFAB (assigned female at birth) bodies, and how we are often taught that our bodies are not our own. While I am choosing to share my own assault story, my body inevitably becomes a school for other to learn from in the process.
